This one was honestly so boring. So much filler, lots of drama and yet somehow practically no plot? Literally the first 2/3 of the book is everyone trying to figure out what to do just for a dramatic final third where everything happens and sets it up for hopefully a better next book. *shrugs*
I enjoyed it enough I guess, but also what a drag.

This was a reread to prepare myself for the rest of the series. A few years back I read this one and for one reason or another never really continued on with the next two.
I wasn't SUPER into this story but I really loved the characters and I am interested in where the series will go.

I think the third, and final, installment to the Women Are Some Kind of Magic series is the most personal and most powerful. I definitely felt a connection while reading the first two in the series, but this one really hit me in other ways.
This story was so beautiful. Not at all what i was expecting and get it was everything i needed it to be.
Not my favorite CoHo, but I think I just had a difficult time connecting to the story/characters.
Both the writing and the story are breathtakingly beautiful.
The only reason this wasn't a five star read was because some of the symbolism was a little lost on me. I think this is a book I could revisit in a few years and that it would have a completely different meaning for me.

I haven’t sat down and read a book from start to finish in months. This book was INCREDIBLE.
