In this novel we finally meet Mercy's mom, although only for a brief glimpse. Then Mercy leaves her stomping grounds to go help an old friend out with a ghost. Of course there is much more to the problem. Don't worry Adam comes to save the day, after Mercy has already taken care of the problem. Another great novel.

Another interesting set of neurological tales by Oliver Sacks. I am not extremely thrilled with the way that Autism is presented. However, considering the book was published in 1995 it actually would have been pushing the boundary of conventional thought at that time. A lot has changed in the last 11 years. The very idea of presenting neurological difficulties from a positive psychology perspective is well before the big push that has started.

I enjoyed this collecting far better than The Man Who Mistoke His Wife for a Hat.
