This book was so sad, but I'm glad to have read it.

I didn't finish the book, but I love the stories I read. It's amazing how Strayed puts so much of her own life into Sugar's responses. She makes connections that I never would have thought of. So powerful!

A sad and beautiful story about a part of the Holocaust that I didn’t know about at all. I enjoyed how the story was written from two different perspectives and there were parts when it made me not want to put the book down.

I loved how this story took us through the lives of two sisters, showing how a family has so many facets and how much our priorities can change as we grow. It was an emotional, beautiful story.
