the art style is perfection and i like the enigmatic ending
i just kind of wish it was longer so it could go more in depth and so the horror aspect had more of an impact yknow
otherwise a modern classic !

this was definitely better than the previous two books but I can't help but be annoyed at how the author represents POCs (will go in-depth in the Winter review)

The series takes a turn for the better with this book as the author turns from a simple fairy tale retelling in favour of worldbuilding and telling their own unique story. Cinder felt like the fairy tale retelling aspect was slapping you in the face, but with Scarlet it's handled a lot better. Also Thorne is introduced so ...
