Would have been 3 stars but it gets an extra one for making Piper sapphic!!!!

This was written in a kind of... fairy-tale-esque hazy voice? Like, kind of detached, but not necessarily in a bad way, told as if it’s a retelling of something that happened so long ago the feelings are part of a story rather than immediately happening to the characters or even memories? In saying that, queer fairytales are my favorite! But I also didnt get as emotionally invested as I would have if the voice was different. I did enjoy this book, just didn’t fuuuuuully hook me.

Read it on webtoon and then in ebook format! So sweet, mostly pure fluff! I love how Alice Oseman portrays their crushes on each other, the way they both look away and blush when Charlie sends a heart in their texts, the way one or the other is blushing and then they both do but still aren't actually addressing what's happening or necessarily believing the other person feels the same way.
