I can't tell if it's jetlag or what but I'm confused about the climax

Eh. I hoped this would at least sort of deconstruct the necessity of early heterosexual marriage but ok

I'm gonna have to think more about her reading of how "both sides" dehumanize especially regarding BLM and police, and stuff like that. I'm not sure I buy what she says, at least when applied to movements for creating real change in the face of a dehumanizing system.

My main takeaway from this book, however, is a reminder of the importance of in person community and response to loneliness, and her analysis of the Maya Angelou quote about belonging nowhere and everywhere.

I wasn’t that invested in the middle but the end of the book was more interesting honestly
