This was so freaking good!! I couldn’t stop reading and cannot wait to continue. Yuji had me cracking up and his reactions to eating Sukuna’s fingers were hilarious. This may seriously become a new favorite manga alongside Bleach and Tokyo Ghoul.

What a cute and wholesome coming of age story! It shows how 17 year old Justin Ortega goes about discovering how he’s different than what his parents want him to be and how to accept himself for this difference. From loving 80s hair metal bands, playing cymbals in his high school band to loving guys as more than friends, Justin learns to love himself and realizes it’s okay to open up to others. He goes from having one single friend to gaining multiple by the end of the story, even gaining more than a friendship from someone he least expected to come back into his life. I laughed, I teared up and I overall had an enjoyable reading experience. I can’t wait to see what else Jake Martinez writes.

Interesting premise. Wasn’t completely hooked but hooked enough to read the second volume. Also can’t wait to check out the anime as well once I get far enough to not be spoiled.

I couldn’t put this book down. I was so engrossed by Julian and Deacon’s growth that I couldn’t stop. And the last chapter just made me want to bawl.

Oh my gooood this was seriously so good. SO GOOD. Ilya and Shane are just perfection. This is honestly the best enemies to friends to lovers romance I’ve ever read. The slow burn of them realizing their feelings was just *chefs kiss* masterpiece. I’m going to be recommending this book to anyone and everyone I can.

Well, Laura does it again by putting my feelings and emotional well-being into a blender then turning it on without the lid. Excuse me while I cry happy tears for Hiro and Berlin. Also, never really cared for cowboys but where can I find a Berlin for myself? Cause he was just the sweetest thing ever.

I wanted to love this but I wasn’t completely head over heels. The writing style was weird, even listening via audiobook. It took me awhile to go into it. But that ending.

Maaaan, I wanted to love this. But I just couldn’t get into it. I don’t think cozy mysteries are for me. I was just....bored to be honest. I’m not sure if I’ll read the next book or not. But I’m still curious about some of Josh’s other works. Maybe they’ll work more for me.
