This is such a powerful book. I couldn’t stop listening because I just had to know what happened. As a mother, this book made me cry, broke my heart and made me sick to my stomach all at the same time. I think everyone needs to read/listen to this book.

Easily the best of the series so far. I still love Iko but Thorne and Cress just stole my heart in this book. Only thing that weirds me out a little is their age gap. Since she’s like 16-17 and he’s almost 21. Plus he’s the first human male she’s ever seen in person. But the fact that he becomes blind wrenched my heart. A blind captain isn’t much of a captain. Praying the eye drops work. And Dr. Erland...UGH. I figured out he was Cress’s dad like right away but the fact that he infected himself with letumosis and that’s how he told her? Shitty. Shitty way to go. BUT CINDER AND KAI’S KISS. YES. Their love is just...yes. Also ready to get Scarlet back so Wolf can go back to being a lovey dovey bad ass. And Winter? Bat shit crazy. I’m curious how the next book is going to go. Because she is BAT SHIT CRAZY. Blood all over the palace? Like shit, someone needs to be locked up. Overall, easily my favorite. Couldn’t put it down once I hit that 60% and everything started rolling.
