It cannot be five stras, the whole first half of the book mentions Harry Potter too many times (even just one time would be too many). Some of the names were similar so that also got confusing sometimes. Otherwise it was a beautiful story and an interesting approach to such a complicated situation. We are not promised tomorrow, so make sure those you love know that you love them today, I guess.

Pretty good, but there are too many ways in which it could be better

It went too slow and then it went too fast. Some of the descriptors were weird, like too many times she would describe the estate as "the too-big house" or at one point she referred to the air as "the too-dry air". That threw me off a little bit, but it could just be me. Otherwise, I liked it, but I would have preferred it to be longer. It's also not for me, given that it's intended for younger readers (I think). But the writing was beautiful, and it is overall a solid story.
