This style just wasn’t for me. Between the pacing of the story, the overemphasis on how rich everyone is and the way the perspectives were shown, I just wasn’t hooked or interested in what happened.

What an epic ending to an amazing series! I loved seeing the story come full circle and again, I loved every single couple in this story! I only knocked it .5 point because it did feel too long and I didn't love how many battle scenes there were - it felt a little boring.

This book didn’t really have me hooked until the last 30%, but wow, that was quite an ending reveal! It is very much a dark academia read. It gave me very strong Umbrella Academy vibes, in a more serious setting. I didn’t love this but I am intrigued to see how it finishes so I’ll be reading the next book that comes out.

I do think this could be a good, dark retelling of Peter Pan, but it was just too slow-paced and character-focused for me. I did enjoy Tinkerbell as the narrator and having the story focused on Tiger Lily, but the slow-paced nature lost my attention.

I heard this was like Stranger Things but with a main group of all girls. It just didn’t work for me. Maybe you have to read them all to understand what’s going on? On top of being confused, it read very clearly like the female characters were written by a man. They felt very unrealistic to what young teen girls are like, even for this being set in the 80s.
Graphic: Cursing, Homophobia
