I loved the idea of this book, but I could not get on board with the characters. The FMC is an adult doormat while (who I’m assuming is) the love interest just comes across as smug and rude. I made it to the murder and not even that could keep me engaged. I’m very bummed this was not a book for me!

Hector and Brenda carried this story for me - they were the best parts!

I’m just not enjoying the main character so I don’t think this one is for me.
