Started off well (like around the first 25-30%) but ultimately not as impactful or interesting as I think it could've been.

I always love reading from Nehza's pov.

The last 20% of this book is what saved this book for me.

The first half (part 1) was a 4 star read and the 2nd half (parts 2 & 3) was a 3 star read. While the 2nd half had its moments throuthout it felt a lot more boring overall. Rin kind of felt like to one character in the first half and a different character in the second half. It wasn't until the very end where I felt like she regained the characterization she had in part 1. And while I felt like there are reasons I could apply to her shift in characterization in part 2, some I think even the text tries to provide, it still didn't feel earned enough.

I think I wanted the end to be a little longer, maybe spend a little more time with wren and oak togethor than we got but it still ended well.
