Thank you Minotaur books for the ARC

This was not good. I went into this knowing the rating was pretty low but was still optimistic. This just made absolutely no sense to me. It goes in two timelines but even when the main characters are adults, the writing and characters still felt very YA. And I can suspend disbelief for a lot of things, but a lot of this book was simply just unbelievable.

I loved this one! I think this is probably my favorite in the series just because Hendrix is so different from her best friends. They are all so so successful but I don’t know, Hendrix is just different and I love her. Also highly recommend sticking around for the authors note because I personally learned so much about something that fictionally happened in this book really happened in North Carolina where I live. This book was great and taught me something and I love that.
