I really liked Warcross (which is good because I picked it for book club this month). I thought the world building was fantastic and I could picture this futuristic world that doesn't seem too far off. I did guess the one big reveal but was really surprised with Hideo. I like how Lu left Emika not deciding whose side she's on at the end and hopefully we'll find out in Wildcard when things come together.

Going deeper into this world was really exciting. The writing was my favorite part of this book, I really thought it was flawless. There are a few things I’m a little unclear of in the ending and a few things that could have tied up better but I feel satisfied with how everything ended overall. I can’t wait to see what Lu comes out with next.

This book took me way too long to read. I was never super into it but also wanted to see how everything tied together. The pacing was slow and when everything was revealed at the end I didn't even care.

Dnf at 75%. It just wasn’t what the blurb said it was. And jean was so annoying i couldn’t take her as an MC anymore.

I am surprised with how much I enjoyed this.
