This was so interesting. However, I listened to the audiobook and the narrator kept taking weird pauses in sentences and it really threw me off.

Reread 4/20- this is still the weakest in the series but the world building is so good and I love Rose as the narrator.

This was really weird but I liked it a lot. I never know what to expect with E. Lockhart so I like to go in blind and I’m glad I did with this one.

Still not my favorite but this one sets up a lot for the next books. A minor annoyance was this was a different audiobook narrator and she didn’t make Dmitri Russian so that was weird and a deviation from the first audiobook.

Dnf 200 pages in. It was a solid try for book club but ultimately not the book for me.

Probably my favorite of the series.

Let me start off by saying these audiobooks are a damn mess. A new narrator and this dramatic music was super weird. Dmitri was Russian again but all of a sudden Adrian was British. And the music was so distracting. I’m glad I read these in physical form the first time. Also, this wasn’t my favorite reread it was super slow and not a lot of action for a ton of the book.

Reread 2024- ok I see the hype

Yeahhhhhh I don’t get the hype with this one.

Yeah this was really good. Twisty turny until the end
