Too many character pov. Now this book would have been a good Brit-chick-lit. But the beginning was slow. And the female characters weren't likeable. So of course this has the predictable happy ending to make up for all this.

Then Keys had to add a bunch of racial and sexist stereotypes. Lisa thinking mother is rasist to her black husband. Lisa and her prejudice towards the Irish. Ashling and her stereotype need to "fix" everybody - putting her needs last. Her Marry Popin's purse. Please. Can any single girl tell me she has all these items in their purse? And a beat up old one at that? Then there's Clodagh. So she wasn't happy about being a stay at home mom. And ok, so she was jealous that her husband had this freedom to go on far away business trips. Instead of speaking out about this she lashes out on both husband Dylan and her innocent two kids.

Also she's got it wrong about American's not being party hard drinkers. Key's stereotype that New Yorker's thinking that Londoners drink too much? Please. New York is known (thanks to Sex and the City) to be the center of the party. (Have family from there so this is word of mouth). But even Los Angeles, San Diego and San Fransiscans can party like no one's business - been and lived at these popular spots

Millie's Fling by Jill Mansell 4 stars★

This is definitely a British book. I like Jill Mansell. But she has numerous characters giving their points of view. Millie's Fling had A LOT of them. There's of course Millie and her romance and adventures. And then there's Hester, her roommate. And Hester's boyfriend, Nat. And bestselling romance author, Orla, whom made it her goal to get Millie hitched. And then there's sweet, lovable Hugh. And then even Lucas gets some time to have us readers hear him out. Oh and even moments with Millie's Mum, Adele. So let's see... that's 7 points of views. 7.

With all these character point of views jumping all over the place, I didn't feel pulled to hearing each and every one of those characters. Sure some of them was necessary to the plot, but a lot didn't feel like that. And sometimes even took me out of liking the story, let alone these characters. And sometimes even got me confused as to who's point of view it was.

I was going to give this 3 stars. But the ending was good. And I loved Hugh.

A nice little organizer that I used to keep track of physical books I checked out in person at the libraries.
