Yeah, I'm way too stupid for this lol. Brought up some interesting points about the cosmic perspective in the last few chapters but I just zoned out when he tried to tell me facts about the elements of the periodic table.

This graphic novel had gorgeous character design and colours. I love the characters and how it didn't focus solely on their identities and instead surrounded the sci-fi aspect and everything.

The one thing I struggled with was keeping up with the plot around the end. I don't know what happened if I'm being honest. It was messy but still beautiful. I still loved it, though.

Decided to read this cause I was having some childhood fomo and my God do I wish I read these when I was younger. Little me would have latched onto this and never let go and I wish I had that now. Reading this as a seventeen (nearly eighteen) year old I was still really engaged in the story and characters. I read it in one sitting and loved it.

The only thing I found a struggle was the bloody cat names. I mean, I already have trouble remembering names so when you add it fifty cats all with similar sounding names, it gets so muddy. Still, I could keep my mind on the main few and managed to scrape through remembering at least five names :)

I'm so excited to continue the series (and I realise how weird that is as a near adult reading middle grade books about cats)
