Yet again a novel selected by the Rare Birds Book Club that I very much enjoyed. There is a very hopeful feeling to the book despite the characters' hard circumstances, no doubt brought about by the youth of the lead protagonist.

I read this as a child over and over again. I loved the way it expanded Luke Skywalker's story and the appearance of Jabba the Hut (this doesn't happen in the movies until Return of the Jedi).

Basically, this series is a bit of fun, reminiscent of the early seasons of TV shows like the X-files, Supernatural etc - Our mismatched team investigates the mysterious and supernatural for their YouTube show The Anomaly Files.

Written with [a:Michael Marshall Smith|12339|Michael Marshall Smith|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1331399592p2/12339.jpg]/[a:Michael Rutger|17201220|Michael Rutger|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png]'s wicked sense of humour and populated by a bunch of characters that probably don't deserve all that the author puts them through, this is a series I will continue to pick up in paperback as it is released in the future.

Many thanks to The Book Resort Box subscription service that introduced me to the one.
