OMG this was SO GOOD the buzz and hyped are totally clear to me now! Can't stress this enough how much I adored this book, the characters, the plot, the fairytale retailing just flawless can't wait to see where the story goes. That ending tho, I didn't see it coming.

So this is the second book of the lunar chronicles, if you haven't read it here is a little review
(If you haven't read Cinder well yes there are gonna be spoilers)
Scarlet starts with the a new set of characters and it follows the arch of Little Red Riding Hood but mixed with the story line of Cinder the main point of this is the search of Scarlet's grand-mère (Little Red Riding Hood arch) and how it develops.
Overall thoughts:
Plot: Very nice building of the arch, you might see that is a bit slow but is because we need to get to know the new characters, and we get a lot of answers with this installment, the final quarter of the book is SO FAST PACED and with tons of action that you flew through it.
Characters:
New ones:
Scarlet: kinda stubborn, but is understandable, she's strong willing and determined, but also those intentions blind her judgment, but overall she a nice addition to the plot line, really enjoyable and you get to know her and care for her
Wolf: He's really mysterious and quite dark at times, you get to see him struggle with some issues on the main plot, you don't really know if you can trust him, but she's quite the opposite of Thorne so it balances the characters but he's like Scarlet in some points
Thorne: MY NEW FAVORITE CHARACTER, he's so funny, cheeky, witty but a little slow and a bit dumb, he's the comic relief in the story.
Cinder: By the end she grows into her own skin, and she is strong and now she (we know more stuff) she kick ass and we see her struggle with her new found Lunar gift, not knowing is this makes her good or evil
SPOILERS
Kai: He struggles with his feelings towards Cinder, not knowing if what he lived with her was real or it was just the glamour, with the pressure of Queen Levana he starts doing decisions that are maybe not the best for him but he sees no other choice
IKO: She (it?) She rocks, I love her, amazingly she grow (pun) a lot and she becomes very handy on the crew
Queen Levana: Forever a bitch.
