I received an ARC at SDCC 2019.

This was one of the books I was anticipating this year when I first heard about it. Very sad that it didn't go the way I thought it would have gone.

Didn't really connect with any of the characters. The story line felt force together and all of it just felt too rush. There really wasn't any character development during the story. I felt as if the reader had to rely on knowing the Arthurian legends already. I could have been such a good storyline but at the end it felt like the book was just trying to hit a check off list.

I enjoyed the journey this book took me. The writing was entertaining and very much the style of the author. It read to me as middle grade more than YA, however it gave me the feel of nostalgia as I read it. For the books I read when I was in middle school and high school. I also enjoyed that it was fast pace and still enjoyed the characters as the story progressed.

Really looking forward to reading the sequel.

As I kept reading the book I really enjoyed it. The mystery and case behind it pulled me into the story line. What was irritating me at the beginning of the book was the lack of communication between the characters.

Overall it was really entertaining and can't wait for the next one in the series.

This series is such an interesting story. I am really enjoying it. I am intrigue to see where this story is heading towards. (own these in single issues)
