so a boy who has superhero powers and a secret...hmmm...good story line but for me there was a sense of being disconnected/disjointed...we didn't find out about the accident with his father until more than half way through the book but it was referred to through out the first part of the book as if we all knew what was going on...the final battle?...a little more descriptive and destructive than i was expecting...the resolution with his parents?...i'm not sure it had to go quite that far
First in the Geronimo Stilton series. Listened to it as an audio. Not sure if I missed too much as an audio because while I found it cute I can't quite understand why the kids are flocking to it.
Felt like I was back in a Smurfs episode except now its cheese. Still not seeing the appeal.
I will say this much - listening to these 3 books on audio has given me sound effects. Pretty cool. Still not catching the appeal.
i was excited to read this book...i struggled to get hooked...once i was hooked i didn't want to stop

good premise...not so great execution
i read this at the recommendation of a friend...it is outside of my normal zone of books and i always appreciate when people give me recommendation for books out side of my zone...having said that i doubt i would have picked this up on my own and even if i had i doubt i would have finished it...it didn't grab me and i struggled...i also had issues with the flow of the book and there is a blaring error that caused me to yell out loud to my living room...i know others have connected to this book and for them i hope they found comfort...i did not
