still can't quite find the hook for this series...seems thrown together and choppy...unless i can find some really stellar reviews of the series and/or the books i'm not reading any more of these

good story..only objection a little dated material

boring...and i'm not so sure i like mary poppins as a person...yes i know she isn't a real person but not even as a depiction of a person...she was mean-spirited, self-centered, and ignorant to others and to the children...i can almost taking being mean to others but not to kids...that's a no for me

the storyline was a little convoluted for me...i wasn't engaged so much as i just wanted it to be over

there is supposed to be some intrigue but it only plays part of a role in the book
