still feel like i missed something here...it did finish dead room book...i dunno...i'll continue to read Heather Graham...i think

it was...interesting...far far far different from any other s.e. hinton book i have ever read...and i've read them all...definitely a non-linear story...which was a little jarring from time to time

i have joined the masses...and i liked it...was it great literature...no...was it an engaging story...you bet...can i understand why everyone is mad for this book...absolutely...i'm trying to pace myself with the next 3 as who knows if book 5 is going to be published...and when

very quick read...i liked the alternating chapters from the two different points of view

i don't know...something was missing from this book...the mystery of it was great but it didn't all mesh together somehow

it was ok...nothing standout about it... have book 2 to read later today...and i'll probably finish it later today too since they read very quickly

if i had read this book before i had read twilight or if i had read this book months and months and months after i had read twilight it would have been better...as it is i'm spending a lot of time comparing the two...which is unfair to the book...it was written almost 10 years ago...long before twilight...and since vampires don't exist (i think) there really aren't any "rules" about vampires and what they can and can't do so just because L.J. Smith has written hers one way and Stephanie Meyers has written hers differently it doesn't make one wrong...things i have to remember while i read

it read very very quickly...think i liked Twilight more

i'm not big on fantasy...picked this up because it was a 2008 rita and to see how it compared to some other popular fantasy flying off the library shelves these days...i must say it was really good...it read really quickly too

it read quickly as i suspected...i could kinda see where it was going...i'll read the other 2 to see where it goes from here

quick read...there was a little intrigue but not much...ready for book 2
