so i've read iris johansen books before...and unfortunately for me i've read books with these main characters before...so although i liked the book and i'm hungry to read the next one i'm a little disappointed with the ending based on plotline I remember from The Search. Gonna have to re-read that one now where it might explain away some of the plot points from this one...and alhtough i've put it in romantic suspense there really wasn't much romance...just suspense...and a little frustration but that was just me

really enjoyed it...only reason i didn't stay up all night reading it was that i was already exhausted and my eyes wouldn't obey my brain...why oh why do i have to wait until december for book 3...i much preferred the all on one day releases or the every six week releases for these paperback trilogies

i'm starting to get my characters all mixed up with this arcane society stuff...maybe there should be a family tree in the book...then i could pretend to remember what went on when

side note - amanda quick/jayne ann krentz really does like the psychical concept

so this is book 3...and it really does jump around between storylines because there are so many characters at this point...and i would love to know if there will be a book that answers the one big question that remains about will and lyra...but mainly...for a book that is a favorite among boys the middle of the end of the book really takes a turn in another genre i wasn't expecting...and that's all i can say with out spoiling the book for anyone else
