a prose version of the lady of shalot story...now i want to read the rest of the author stories...not in prose though...i tend to read it like "regular writing" which i'm sure has a real name

really liked this one...andrew clements really captures kids in school and all of their little quirks

i recommend this one to EVERYONE!...i do not recommend you read it while on a red-eye flight back from the west coast unless you are ok with crying in public...i don't think i could do what he does

who doesn't like a book that has their birthday in it?

the plot line was ok...set in australia and i think it would have been a better read for me if i had been familiar with some of the references to places and things in australia
