This was bad. The timeline was completely screwed. The flow of the storyline was non-existent. This felt like a school assignment first draft. It needed a couple of read throughs, a sensitivity read through, and someone with some actual hockey knowledge to provide guidance.

The beginning really dragged, and if I hadn't been reading it for a book group, I would have probably stopped.
