Wow there was a lot going on in this book.

The twist was very unexpected.

I enjoyed the book. I enjoyed the book even more when I heard Judy Blume's afternote that she wrote the book at the request of her daughter who wanted a book where a couple of nice kids made the decision to have sex and no one died and no one got pregnant and nothing horrible happened. And Judy wanted to write a book where the female had sexual emotions and the boy had more than just sex emotions. That Judy Blume sure does know how to deliver!

I had some issues with the transitions for the first half of the book.
