From the first page I really enjoyed this book. Read very quickly.

I'm sitting at a 3.5. Super freaky. Interesting concept for the underlying cause of the Tox.

Story line is fine. Both girls learn something. Everyone grows. I do question the use of black and white illustrations with purple accents. I do understand the main character's favorite color is purple and that is the driving force behind it BUT it is confusing to have the words tell you that the hopscotch was drawn with an orange rock and yet the only color accents are purple.
