I liked this book for what it was. Does it read like books 1-7? No. But it's not supposed to.

Horrible! Poor story structure. Horendous story resolution. Bad choice for a book group book.

short but it was structured very well and ended in such a way that you'll be anxious for book 2

second in the series...i'm enjoying the series...tend to end on a cliff hanger...there seems to be a long time between releases though...definitely need to have read the first one before you read the second
