I got lost more than once.

For the intended age group - decent series. For the 38 year old who just read it - cheesey

Cute read.

I wanted to read this book. I was intrigued by the storyline and the book setup. And yet it took me quite awhile to be hooked enough to actually finish it.

Truly enjoyed this book. Read it of course because of the movie. For me while Louie Zamperini lived an amazing life and survived a hellacious ordeal I was drawn in to the book by the idea that this happened to so many men. This could have been any POWs story.

It was a shock to learn that their PTSD was for the most part treated with B12 shots. The fact that we as a nation still do so very little to treat PTSD better is a horrible reflection of our society.

I did not care for this book. Unrealistic. Random.

I lost the thread a couple of times but overall good.
