I struggled with Pat's behavior.

I did like the idea of practicing being kind instead of right.

I never connected with the characters. I found them unlikeable for various reasons and different points in the story. Every time one of the female characters was making a stand she would fall back into a cycle with some guy. The guys were not very nice to the girls.
