A beautiful and moving memoir. Chung offers deep, nuanced reflections of the experience of being a transracial adoptee; the storytelling and reflections are braided together masterfully. The book works to honor the perspectives of all parties involved in a way that must require a lot of empathy from the writer, though she somehow makes this seem quite effortless. A very engaging book.

Stunning and important.
