Just isn’t my book. I can’t like Pearl and she needs to decide who she wants to be. In the short amount I’ve read, she’s flip-flopped all over the place.
I won’t be continuing with this series, sorry.

I loved this book! It was the perfect ending to this series, even if I’m a little devastated it’s finished now.
I love Crue and how steadfast he is.
Avory was interesting, harking back to her mother a bit.
I loved how the past and present mixed here, then came together. I especially liked the epilogues, and checking in with the rest of the spawn.
If you haven’t picked up the Devil’s Share/Riff Raff series, you need to fix that immediately!

Received for an honest opinion.
I wanted to love this book. I loved Hunter and how protective he was of Lizzy but it just moved so slowly for me. Everything took so long to develop and there was so much back and forth that it drove me a little crazy. I know Lizzy and Hunter are damaged but it just took so long for everything to be divulged. I loved the premise of the story, just moved too slow for me.

3.5 stars
For the most part I enjoyed this book, I liked the storyline, I liked Morgan, I liked Keaton but I felt like something was missing and I think it was the romance. It wasn’t overtly romantic and I wanted it, and felt the book needed it. Also wanted a bit of heat as well.
The first book in this series started off so well but the following books have felt a little flat for me, sorry.

Trigger warning: attempted rape.
This book took my head a while to get around, mostly I think because psychological books aren’t really my thing or what I expected from L.P.
Having said that, this was an okay book. I do think part of my struggle is that I think things could’ve been taken so much further, made so much more obvious that Nate had problems and that it was so much more than just a crush. I think the book bounced between the two ideas too much, not really breaking either way until the end, where it would’ve been so much better, and easier to understand if it were earlier.
But I liked savannah. I liked Jeremy. I like them as a couple.
This isn’t my kind of read, but it is a solid book, and if twisty and a little dark are your type, give it a go.

This was a solid book. I liked the twist on the traditional model as well, it was refreshing.
I do wish there’d been more chapters from Rowan’s point of view, especially in the beginning. The very early chapters were crying out for it and I was so relieved to finally see him appear when it did.
I also really liked Sydney, but would’ve liked to have seen more of Brayden. I think Rowan needed a closer friend.
The twists in this book were good, although some were a little predictable.
Still, it’s an enjoyable book. An easy read with not too much going on that you have to worry about. Give it a go.
