I genuinely enjoyed this book! It did take a little while to get into, there’s a lot going on in the start and I feel as if all of it were quite adequately explained.
But I liked Bryce, even if she wasn’t perfect as a human.
Hunt, to me, was a little too similar to Rowan, but I did get over it.
The storyline here is solid, with lots of twists and turns.
Ruhn, and Lehabah are also some of my favourites.
I know the second book in this series will be a long way off, but I’ll be waiting!

I flip flopped on my rating and thoughts for this book.
I LOVE the intrigue that’s going on. It’s fun and intriguing and I can’t wait to see what happens.
I also love the added complications of the romances, although I’d like to see more of it.
My problem with this book is that the events and how they transpire don’t seem to be very sophisticated or mature. The events seem simple and I’d expect a higher degree of difficulty for the tasks Reid is set.
I also found some of the language choices to be too modern.
Then there’s the underlying social commentary. I’m not a big fan of writers using their own worlds to pass comment on the current state of ours. It comes off as a bit preachy and it’s displayed here to the max, especially in regards to gender relations. I’m a woman, obvs, so I get it but I don’t need it to be thrown in my face in the books I read as an escape.
I’m torn with continuing this series. I want to know what happens, but there needs to be a massive development in the writing style for me to fall in love.

I don’t think i enjoyed this book as much as the other two in the series. There wasn’t enough Thomas in it for me, although I did enjoy the addition of Liza.
I also feel as if the mystery wasn’t fully solved.
Still, this was a fun read and I’m looking forward to the final book in the series.

This is was an okay book. To be honest, I didn’t really connect with Tucker and Karsyn, mainly because I don’t feel as if I really got to know them in the previous LSERT books, they seemed an odd choice.
Still, it was a solid book. The storyline was interesting and I liked the involvement of all our previous favourites.
But I couldn’t really connect to Tucker or Karsyn. They’re solid characters but I feel like we don’t know them, at least as well as we know the other MTF and LSERT characters.
As a stand-alone this book is solid, as a part of the series? I found it a little lacking.

I love this series and this was a solid addition to it. I loved reading Emmie and Kasen’s story, even if I feel like the blurb was a little misleading. I didn’t find this anymore scandalous that the other Devil’s Spawn books. But I did like how it played out. For the most part.
The major thing I disagree with, and has been a theme with the Spawn books, is the complete 180 the Devil’s Share parents have done. I never would’ve thought they would act the way they’ve acted in this series. I kind of hate that that’s how they’re portrayed. I feel in love with them, and have now fallen in love with their kids, but it seems you’re not able to love both at the same time. It’s a pity and does definitely detract from the book.
Still, if you like this series, it is a solid addition.

I liked this book. It was a solid addition to the series, which is strong.
I loved the dance aspects of this, as well as the music, you can almost feel lit through the words.
Kia is strong, but vulnerable, as is Sebastian. Together, they’re a great couple.
I liked the drama and the versatility.
This is a solid book, give it a go!

I genuinely enjoyed this book. It’s a solid bully romance where the bullying actually makes you pull back and go “whoa”. Sometimes I find it’s petty, but that’s not the situation here.
I absolutely love Zayden. He’s a great character and I loved everything about him.
I didn’t really get that much of a feel about Rylee. She was a solid character, but nothing spectacular in my mind.
If I had one complaint, it would be that I felt things were wrapped up too early. I felt like things were just getting started and they ended.
Still, this is a decent bully romance. If you’re a fan of this genre, you won’t be disappointed.

Ugh. I wanted to love this book, I LOVED the first one in the series and I had high expectations for this one but I’m so devastated to say it fell short.
For starters, I have to say this isn’t a stand-alone. It follows directly on from the first book, and a large part of it revolves around something that happens at the previous book’s end, but does not show in this one. There’s also more than a few things that happen which occur in the first book but aren’t even slightly reminded of here. It just feels a bit off for me.
Second, I didn’t really like Jason. Bully romances are my newfound thing, but he’s one I just don’t like, not do I really get why he did what he did, specifically to Felicity. To be honest, I wanted to see more vulnerability from both Jason and Felicity. I wanted to see their weaknesses, their faults and how that affects them. I also don’t think Jason really knows Felicity all that well.
I’m also going to be honest and say I almost DNFed this book twice, but I did plough through. This book is slow. It goes round in circles and it doesn’t really progress until WAY late in the book.
Like I said, I was expecting great things from this book, I wanted to love it, but it fell flat.

I LOVED this book, novella, prequel, whatever you want to call it!
I love the darkness, the edginess that’s lingering at the edges of both Rafe and Eva.
I love the mix of rock and country, of small town and big city.
I do think the band’s ages are a bit too young, but i understand too big an age gap would push this into a different trope.
All in all, I loved this book and can not wait for the next one!!

3.5 stars.

This was a bit of a weird book for me. I loved the cast, but the events of the story unfold so slowly! It legitimately took me until 75% of this book to fully get into it, the events happening and the story moving forward. I also have to mention here that the events that do take place are fairly simple and unsophisticated. I was expecting so many more complicated things to happen or consequences to the action but they never arose.
On the bright side, the cast was great. Ren is awesome, Darek, Markus, Riko, and Kellen are charming.
I also liked the queer relations contained within, even if I thought the romance as a whole was foreshadowed too much.
I think this book has promise, and I hope the second book leaves off where this one finishes, and provides more action, which I do think it needs.
