Oh. Wow. This book is intense and powerful and just wow.
It's really trigger-y so if you're vulnerable to stuff like that, I wouldn't even consider reading this book, because it is incredibly intense.
Iris is incredible. She's strong and she's powerful.
August is just a beautiful soul.
I really think the message in this book needs to be heard, so I'd more than recommend people read it, unless you do have triggers.
If you don't, read it now!

This was a sweet book. I really liked the development of Grayson and Charlotte's relationship, even if I would've liked to have seen more of them actually together.
I also would've liked things to move a bit more quickly once they did actually get together. I felt like in the middle things got a bit bogged down a bit and I got frustrated with the constant past/present in that period.
Also, I felt the sexual assault allegations against Grayson were totally unnecessary as they played no part in the actual story. If they had been used against him by Charlotte I can understand but they weren't.
Still, this was a nice, quick read. A good second chance, enemies to lovers story even if it got a bit lost in the middle.

This was an okay book. The story was okay, but I felt the start didn’t pack enough punch, it was too casual, and for the second half of the book I felt dragged and I was waiting for something to happen, which it didn’t really do.
So yeah, an okay book but not a fav, sorry

This is a cute and sweet book.
Alex is a great character and Bailey is a great counterpoint.
I do think this book is a little young for me, more suited to a teen audience rather than anyone older than that.
The story is solid, with a heap of drama which keeps things interesting, but ultimately a little young for me.

This was a sweet book. It’s by no means an original storyline, we know how it goes, guy makes a bet, girl becomes object of said bet, they fall in love, she finds out etc etc.
I have to say that Cain was a character I liked a lot. He was horrible at the start but then you get to know him and he’s surprising.
I liked Harper, but for all her bravado I thought she gave into Cain way too quickly. I would’ve liked to have seen more interplay between them, really build up that enemies to lovers feelings.
Overall this was a solid book. It hasn’t reinvented the wheel but that wasn’t the aim. If you like this sort of books you’ll like this one.

I liked this book. Enemies to lovers is one of my favourite tropes so this was right up my alley.
Although, I do think a little more background was needed. We never really see why Declan and Mak hate each other so much. I really think this is vital to the story, but we never really get it.
Having said that, I did love Declan. He was pretty awesome.
Makenna was exactly what she needed to be. Uptight, highly strung, but ultimately everything Declan needed.
This was a solid book and I enjoyed the cast of characters. Give it a go.

This book was a strange one for me. At times it felt rushed and parts were stodgily written. I also felt Noah at times was so incredibly passive. And the ghost Peyton? So weird, as was the abrupt stop to her. That especially felt strange to me. There was no transition or hint she was going to get better, it was just bam! Here she is.
Then there was the constant mentioning of everyone from the Beaumont books and connections and it got tiring and repetitive to try and figure out what was happening or what was meant.
So, a strange book but fans of the series will probably love.

I loved this book. It was sweet, it was angsty, it was dramatic.
Whit was an absolute shining star.
Jesse was so hot!
This was a great second chance story. One thing I would’ve liked however, is a bit more detail at the start. I would’ve liked to have seen Jesse and Jules when they were high school students, and also maybe what happened after graduation.
I also found the events after the grocery store a little confusing and Jules’s attitudes so quick to change, without much justification.
Still, this was a great book. I enjoyed it and I think you will too!

I really liked this book. It’s been a while since I’ve read a dancer book and this one quenched the thirst.
Lex is a cute character, naive but not annoyingly like it can come across as.
Theo is a little dark, a little troubled, and a lot closed off but I like it.
Together they’re a great couple.
I will say the storyline is a bit predictable, but again, not to an annoying point.
This is a great, light read where you can lose yourself for just a little bit. Give it a go, it’s worth your time!

This book was okay. Brothers best friend books are my jam, and as far as that goes, it was solid, even if Barrett’s weakening didn’t quite make sense.
What also didn’t make sense to me was the factory twist. To me that case out of nowhere and didn’t completely make sense to me. It needed to be a bit better explained and expanded.
The ending to me could also have benefited from this as well, it seemed a little rushed or the author simply ran out of energy.
A solid book, but not a favourite, sorry.
