Oh wow! This book, despite its heavy subject matter and tone, was so beautiful.
Leka is incredible. So loving, so protective, everything I look for in a book boyfriend (and a real one of such men exist).
Bitsy is just so sweet. And strong. I loved that she didn’t take any shit.
I know this is probably going to be marketed as a taboo book, or be slammed because it’s a taboo book, but I don’t believe it is. It’s a story of growth, of two people who are in horrible situations trying to make the best of it. I don’t think there’s anything taboo about Leka and Bitsy’s relationship, it grows and changes as they do.
I loved this book, I think you should read this book, but I get it may not be for everyone.

I loved this book.
Liam was just... wow and Josie was tough and sassy and strong.
I loved the supporting cast as well, especially the kids.
There was drama galore here but I did think there would be more outside drama. I also think the story is far from finished (hence the following books) but I’m unsure if I’m going to read them. Maybe after a while I’ll give them a go.

i really liked this book. It was a great mix of urban and fantasy, and a nice touch of mythology. I really enjoyed the romance aspects, as well as the world building and strong series opener. The characters were strong and likeable, a solid read.

I loved this book! I was a bit reluctant to read this as I wasn't a fan of Scarlett, at all, but this was SO much better! I've said before the first two books were slow as, but this one, I guess because things are coming to a head, didn't have that luxury, thank God!
Also, Iko!!!! She is my absolute favourite and I love her!
If you managed to get through the first two, this is your cake! Enjoy!

I absolutely love this book. I love Reaper, love Harmony, love their story and their supporting cast.
There’s love, passion, drama, and a touch of humour as well.
One thing I do have to say, this is the first time I’ve read this book since it was updated and some of the new bits, mostly sexy times, are a little out of place. There’s also a few continuation issues but still a great book.

I love this little novella! It has everything we need, drama, heat, romance. These two are definitely one of my favourites!

I'm not quite sure what to make of this book. The subject matter makes for uncomfortable reading, but I'm sure that's the point. However at times I felt it was overdone. Alexis is a big girl, we get it, but it started to grate on me that it was repeatedly mentioned. Linc says it's not an issue, which I agree for him it isn't, but it just keeps coming up.
Also, I feel like this story is half formed. We dive straight in, with no real intro into who Linc is or anything, so I felt like I never really knew him. Or Alexis for that matter.
And the ending just didn't make sense to me and I'm not crazy on the cliffhanger.
Overall, I'm not taken with this book. I wanted to, I think this subject matter needs to be written about more, but I just don't think it was done well.

4.5 stars.

I loved this book! It was the perfect end to the series. We got love, we got drama, we got action, we got an ending, we got Iko!!!
At times this series went off the rails for me, but was definitely pulled back with Cress and Winter. Definitely a fav!

I quite enjoyed this book. I really liked how it wasn’t your typical “jock” type romance and focused on the unglamorous aspects of being a sports star.
What I thought was done particularly well was how the blame of the disintegration of Slade and Malone’s relationship was kind of shifted to both of them. It was both their faults and I felt that was done particularly well. It did mean that my feelings for Malone in particular cycled back and forth. Especially given the ending, I’m still unsure as to whether I like her. Slade is definitely a favourite.
This book was done really well, and I’m looking forward to the concluding part. Again, it’s not your typical sports romance but enjoyable nonetheless.

Wow. This book was emotional, but it was great. I loved the storyline. It had ups, it had downs, it had angst. It had everything you needed. I would have, however, liked a bit more confrontation. I think everything, and there were some heavy subjects, that really needed an explosive confrontation.
I liked Jake and Aurora, they were great lights.
Frederick started out great for me, then majorly skipped in my opinion. The way he went about things just didn’t sit right to me. I know it’s symptomatic of how he always handled things, but after how he was at the start, it didn’t sit well with me.
Rachel was strange for me. I couldn’t get a read on her, which may have been the point, but I found it frustrating. There were so many times I wanted her to rage and instead she whimpered. I wanted a strong female lead and Rachel wasn’t it. I know she’s been through some stuff, but her anger could’ve stiffened her. Angry Rachel needed to make a bigger apparence.
At the end of the day though, this was a solid book, if not quite everything I was wanting.
