I loved this book. It was so beautiful. The connection between State and Baylor is so lovely and Rowe is so unbelievably sweet.

Received for an honest opinion.

I'm so confused with this book. I love Shaw and Bizzy as a couple, I think they're great together but what happens with Sasha is so infuriating. I have never hated a character more than Sasha, which I suppose is a testimony to great writing, but I don't understand why someone would put their characters what Shaw and Bizzy go through. I hate Sasha so much I wanted horrible things to happen, which makes me feel awful. I think it also makes Bizzy seem weak when she's really not. I also think there were a little too many sex scenes, which isn't normally a bad thing, but I think they're used to avoid the conversations Shaw and Bizzy need to have but never really do. I love some of Ahren's previous books but this isn't one of my favourites, sorry.

I loved this book. Somewhere along the line I've come to love this series, despite it creeping up on me. Nova and Jace are a great couple. I love how insightful he is and how neither of them are perfect. I like the touches of drama and the serious issues that are addressed. Dark Hearts is gentle, yet strong and I loved it!

I loved this book! It was a bit of a departure for Kaylee, it had a more mature, and a bit of a sexier feel to it. I loved how the relationship between Crew and Berklee developed. Crew especially was a great character. A typical Kaylee Alpha but that's what we like right? I also liked the quick cameo from Ridge, it made me miss those guys and wonder what they're up to.
Overall, another solid release from Kaylee. I highly recommend it!

I like these full lengths from Alexa Riley. They're so much more than their shorties. I like the drama and the danger we get in these books, but also the fact we get our much loved sexy times! His Alone is a great companion to everything for her, with your typical Alexa Alpha and the sweet heroine. I especially liked Paige, she's perhaps my favourite of all their girls. There's heat, there's drama, there's a bit of danger, what more can you want?

This was a sweet, quick read. Cole is quite the player at the beginning of the book, almost to the point where you dislike him. Mackenzie is a solid character. I think quite a lot of detail, and moments for drama were kept out of this book and for that I was a little disappointed. I would've liked some more drama, or at least, something with a little bit more neat I could stick my teeth into. A solid read but I wanted more.

I feel this book was a bit rushed. From the short chapters to the brief sex scenes, everything was too light on detail for me. It's a shame because Illicit had a lot going for it, a great leading man in Carson and drama to boot. I would've loved just a bit of down time to let things breathe and develop. A decent read for me, but not a favourite.
