My lucky days is an incredibly sweet tale of inevitable love. I loved the relationship Lucky and Katie had, even if it caused them pain. I also loved the inevitability of their relationship, you know, and I don't think this is a spoiler given the prologue, that they would find their way back to each other, but what caused it was a surprise. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who is after a sweet love story.

Initially I wasn't sure how this book would go, and then I read the blurb and I was even more unsure. But I love LP and the Devil's Share so I bought the book. I'm glad to say I loved it! Harlow was way more than I thought she would be and everything played out with Luke and Lexi a lot easier than I thought it would. I love that Lexi was part of the story and how the rest of the band was featured so prominently. I love how LP does that. I also love how she writes her male characters and the spunkiness her female characters have. Play Hard is the best possible story for Luke and I can't wait for the *sniff* last book in the series!

Keeland is a great character, and I enjoyed Samantha but I felt the book moved a little slowly for me. It took forever to finally find out about Keeland's past and then bam! The book is over. I like the premise of the book, and I really like Keeland but I felt it could've been a bit more fleshed out.

I'm a big Alexa Riley fan but Roping the Virgin isn't one of my favourites. I felt not enough time was spent on Blake and his antics and more was spent trying to set up the last 2 books of this series. I love quick Insta-love but I didn't feel it as much in this book.

Lisa is not a good person. I find it hard to get over the things she's done in the past but I find myself trying really hard to get there, but it's difficult. I like Aiden, a strong, dependable guy with a touch of humour and cluelessness I enjoy. I find though that the development of their relationship moved too slowly for my liking. I did really like Aiden though which saves the book a little for me.

Too be honest, I'm a little over the nerdy girl routine. There are so many books these days that have them and I find most of them fall flat in comparison to my favourite, Cambria Hebert's Rimmel. I also found the book was overly wordy and didn't get to the point quickly, it left a lot of time for my mind to wander. While Rylie was cute and quirky she just didn't work for me, sorry!

I loved Crazy Stupid Perfection. I loved Paxton and Charlie and their intense relationship. I also really enjoyed the drama and twists the story took as well as the side characters. Gavin got on my nerves quite a bit and didn't quite understand his motives even though they were explained. It is a standalone in probably the truest sense of the word which I also really appreciated.

The Virgin Cowboy is typical Alexa Riley fare. I think though, in this instance that too much time was spent on background and not getting down to the nitty gritty. I loved Dolly, she's my kind of woman, full of spunk! I'd also like to see a family tree for the Jenning's clan, they make a quite impressive bunch!

I loved this book! I don't know how much I can say without spoilers but I'll try. I think Kael is perfect. I think Killian is an arse with some very big secrets and some very heavy burdens. I loved the way Black Swan played out and I think Maverick ended up with the right brother. Black Swan is a heart wrenching, heart breaking story of an impossible choice but was written so beautifully that you don't even mind your heart is being wrenched out and wrung dry. Well worth a read!

For a second book recommended to be read after the first I think a lot of time, too much, was spent recapping and going over things which have already been covered in book one. I also felt it was a little slow and leaves a lot unresolved, presumably for book three which is going to have some serious fireworks. That being said I really do like the sense of family, even if unconventional, with the Bomars and am glad some of them are finding their way. A little disappointing though.
