 This was a great read!!! I was hooked from the first page from the badass female main characters, multiple POVs, mother figure, soul being reincarnated, political intrigued and a deadly race with monsters. It was a fun read just what I need to start my year off. It got you thinking with out being too heavy, there was just enough magic with out it feeling complicated. Yes this is a YA book but could easily be enjoyed by adults. Everything was straight forward and wasn't to graphic hence it being a YA. There was not any romance which was nice there was a range of ages of main characters which makes it perfect for teens all the way to adults. 

 
This to me felt like a slow burn. I didn't really get in to it tell like 85ish% of the book. But in the end I couldn't help but feel a little emotional . It is very timey wimey, The audio book I thought was very enjoyable. 

 
I will never look at white roses the same ever again. This book was sad I really love the twist and turns. Don't read if your hungry it has lot of baking and sweet talk, I was all for it!
