This was my first Vi Keeland novel, but it won’t be my last. Delilah Maddox is a female sports reporter, a field mostly dominated by men. Brody Easton is a famous quarterback and he deliberately tries to sabotage Delilah’s first interview with him – by dropping his towel as soon as they go to air, leaving Delilah momentarily speechless while she oggles his man parts.
Pretty much straight away you can tell that Brody is the kind of character who is going to have you laughing and smirking throughout the book.
We get switching POV’s throughout this one and its especially sweet to see the chapters where Brody is visiting Marlene – it shows his sweet and caring side which of course is something all women would want to swoon over.
Visiting Marlene brings up some questions from Brody’s past though, particularly, who is Willow and how is this going to play out during the book?
Of course we learn had previously learnt about Drew, who is from Delilah’s past, and you get the feeling he will keep popping up in the book as well.
I found Indie to be a great secondary character – she’s hilarious and witty, and a great friend to Delilah.
As you read through the book and watch the relationship between Delilah and Brody play out, you can’t help but think, damn, what is it about arrogant jocks that has us ladies swooning everytime? *sigh*
Of course then when things are going good between Delilah and Brody, a bombshell hits at about 52% and it was definitely not what I expected to happen. I also felt like there was going to be disaster coming after this.
Disaster does strike but not in the way that the reader expects. This part of the book was quite sad, but Brody handled things alot better than I thought he would. He is also wayyyy more patient that I would have expected him to be and this proves him to be of way stronger character than you originally guess.
I don’t want to go into too much more detail and spoil things for those who haven’t read it, but this last part of the book is just as good as the first part.
Also, let me just say that the epilogue was awesome, and damn Brody! *swoon*
I highly recommend this one – a quick, fun, flirty and sexy read.

Ok, ok, I'm probably one of the few people who doesn't rave about this book - but here goes:
As much as I want to, I just can't seem to finish this book. First of all its bloody massive, and second of all its extremely close to the TV Show. Of course I should say that the TV Show is extremely close to the book, however I have already watched quite alot of the series (we're behind in Aus) and as such when I'm reading this book, I feel like I'm reading something that I only just read.
The descriptions and actual writing in this book is pretty good, and I think maybe if I had of read them before watching the series, I may have been able to finish it, but I just find myself getting bored with book. I think I'll stick to the show for this one.

Roomhate is the story of Justin and Amelia, childhood friends who haven’t been friends at all since Amelia left for an unknown reason when she was 15. At first all we know is that there’s a reason she went running and that she regrets it after all these years, nearly a decade later.
Amelia’s Nana has passed away, and she was basically a second mother to Justin. She’s left her beach house to both of them equally. A 50/50 share in a house with a person who you haven’t seen in an extremely long time and who pretty much hates you. Fun, right?! I had ideas right away about why Nana left the house to them both, and if there was more to it, so of course that had me intrigued.
Amelia goes to spend the summer in the house and eventually Justin rocks up…with his girlfriend Jade in tow. I wanted to hate Jade, but she was so damned nice. We start getting flashbacks from Amelia to her past with Justin and how their friendship was, they were best friends after all, and these really start to give some insight and explain things. I definitely wanted to know what the secret was that sent Amelia running and it was also pretty obvious that way back then they both had feelings for each other and were both oblivious to how the other felt.
Of course at the beginning of the book, Justin is a complete asshole to Amelia, but as the reader you realise this is probably just an act. At 19% I began to wonder if this was the bit it was going to stop and things between them would start becoming civil and they’d form some sort of friendship again.
And then…….HERE COMES THE SECRET!! Finally! I was so keen to find out what it was. It wasn’t as bad as I was expecting but I understood both their points of view about what had happened. This is where we really start to see them both open up to each other as well.
“We both came from broken homes, but from the moment I met you, my world seemed a little less broken”.
And finally, there we have it. Justin and Amelia admit to each other that they had feelings for each other back in the day. Oh man, the feels right here.
I loved seeing Justins possessive/jealous side. He was hilarious before Amelias date with Dr Danger. As we get to 41% – more feels. This book is becoming full of them!
42% and a bombshell hits. Holy Shiiitteeee!

As the books progresses, oh man, swooning over Justin with Bea (I’m not going to spoil who Bea is, for those who haven’t read it yet)
62% and I’m just like, Justin, you play dirty….

The last half of the book – let me just say – SO MANY EMOTIONS!! What a rollercoaster, holy hell. Amazing.
The ending of this book was perfect. So damned good. I loved this one and highly recommend it!

Ok. How to review this one? As usual K A Tucker drew me in with her writing style and I sped through this book pretty quickly.
Kacey Cleary is running from her past - suppressing her emotions from the night she lost her parents, best friend and boyfriend, all in one horrible car accident. Kacey herself was the only survivor. Taking her sister Livie with her, they run to Miami to try and start fresh.
Here she meets her neighbour Storm and her little girl, Mia. And her neighbour Trent, the sexy guy on the other side of her apartment.
From the beginning I pretty much felt I knew what Trents secret was and in the end I was right. It was kind of predictable.
I loved how Kacey and Livies relationship with Storm and Mia grew, and I found Livie to be a strong character as well. All of them were great.
Trent was sweet and loving, and pretty damn funny too, but like I said, all along I had basically figured out his secret. Not the extent of what he was hiding but the main thing about him I had worked out.
Kacey herself, I'm not too sure how I feel about her. She's a strong person that's for sure, and everyone copes in different ways with terrible tragedies such as the one she's been through, but I just didn't connect with her. I don't even know if I like her to be honest.
The ending was pretty good, again kinda predictable but sweet all the same, and not just for Kacey.
All in all this was a great book and I wanted to see what would happen. I was drawn in by the writing style and I would definitely be interested in continuing the series and learning some more about the other characters.
If you like K A Tucker give this one a go, but I think I like the Burying Water series more. At this stage anyway.

This one was weird. Yep, I'm saying it straight up. I'm a bit like, what the hell did I just read?
Boone is an interesting character and I feel that there should be more to learn about him in the next two parts of this series. He seems dangerous that's for sure.
Charity is the dirty girl who during the day portrays herself as the nice girl, the good girl, but by night she likes to f*ck random men in bathroom stalls.
Boone seems to like watching her, and one day he gives her a proposition of a deal. This was intriguing and we only slightly delve into the deal in this part of the series. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Especially with the club that he takes her to at the end of the book.
I will say that this book was hot, lots of sex and descriptive sex scenes, but the characters seemed like they had no emotion to me. I need to be able to connect to characters I'm reading about and these ones I wasn't able to do that with.
I'm curious enough that I'll probably read part two to see what happens, but I don't feel as attached to it as I have to other books I've read.

Logan Price was a rising star in the NFL when his career was over before it really began, due to an injury to his knee.
Now, years later, his QB, Gaige, comes back into Logan's life, where he's running his Dads bar back in his home town. Bringing with him, Claire Thornton.
Gaige has proposal for Logan - he's playing his last year with the Knights and he wants Logan there in the team with him when they win. Logan is hesitant to try and make a come-back in his career because the last time he tried, it failed. Claire has come along to help train Logan and get him back into shape so he can try out for the team and make his come-back. The plan? For her to explained around town as an old girlfriend of Logans who he has reconnected with. This way things will be on the down-low and no-one will be aware that Logan is back training.
There's instant attraction between Logan and Claire and they slide into a relationship pretty easily. Things stay on track professionally though, and Claire certainly puts him through his paces in terms of training and staying on top of his game.
Rhonda is one of the girls who works at Logans bar, and she's a great secondary character in the book and becomes one of Claires good friends.
Refer is another character we meet, and he has basically had beef with Logan since high school - pretty much always being jealous of Logan for having a better life than him, and being better at football than he was.
Things take an interesting turn when Rafer learns Logan is going to try and make a come-back.
Claire seems to have a bit of trouble opening her heart to Logan but they have a great relationship and understand each other, so luckily this doesn't cause any issues.
I won't ruin things by saying what happens at the end, but the ending of the book is well done and I will be interested in reading the next in the series.

Em has three rules:
Never sleep with someone a friend has feelings for
Never sleep with someone in a known relationship
Never sleep with somene more than three times
Needless to say by the end of chapter one I was very intrigued!
As soon as we meet the main male lead character, Jaxon Riley, and learn he rides a motorbike, my mind immediately drifts to Jax from Sons of Anarchy -
When in reality this Jax is actually a football player and intern at a radio station who is studying journalism. I know, I know, the description in the books doesn't even match that of Jax Teller - but hey - who can blame a girl for thinking of him as soon as they hear of guy called Jax who rides a motorbike?! ;-)
By the end of chapter two, I was like, oh man, Jaxon is gonna make me swoon and giggle like an idiot in this book, I can feel it.
Then we meet Jace - oh man this scene was hilarious. I loved it. Loved Jace as a character as well, he sure has that Riley boy charm!
33% into the book and I'm all like *goddamn hot, truck driving, football playing, country boys - swooooonnnn!*
36% - here comes the complicated - oh the feels!
44% - Audrey - uh-oh this is gonna be trouble for sure. You know when a particular character gets introduced in a novel and you just know shit is gonna go down? Yeah thats this moment.
46% - HOLY SHIT!!!
Then of course by about 50% (thank god that didn't drag on for too long) we have the air cleared between Em and Jax and the truth about what Audrey said, but yeah, you still know this is gonna be frustrating.
By the time I got to 74% of the book I was waiting for the inevitable trouble that always comes in a book like this - is this it?
From 77% through to the end of the book - man the feels!!!!
What a rollercoaster ride during this last part of the book - Jaxon is being all confusing and Em is trying move on, and ultimately they're both just miserable. Of course once they finally talk and slip back into their old ways I'm wondering if that was just too easy - was the forgiveness given too easily? Maybe I'm a skeptic, I don't know - but I wasn't sure if there should have been a bit more going on here.
And yes the epilogue - oh mannnnn that was amazing, and especially awesome to get to read it from Jaxon's point of view.
I give this book 5 stars because it was just so damned awesome. I couldn't put it down. Overall I liked Em as a character and I could understand her reasons for being the way she was, even if it seems a little unusual to most people. It made sense to her, and the way she explains it makes sense to the reader.
Jaxon was a great male lead and so damn swoon worthy. Sexy, charming, protective, rugged - I could go on. Jace, Cole and Quinn were fantastic secondary characters and helped make the book exactly what it was, fantastic. It really helps when you have strong secondary characters like these guys.
A fun, sexy and emotional read - I definitely recommend this one!

Whoa. This book was amazing. I sped through it in about 24 hours. I wasn't too sure if I'd enjoy this series as much as the Burying Water series, but this book has definitely changed my mind.
I loved this one and I definitely enjoyed it way more than the first book, Ten Tiny Breaths.
We met Olivia Cleary in that first book, as she was the main characters sister. Olivia is so much like Kacey yet so different and I loved learning about her and reading her story.
From the moment she meets Ashton we can tell this is gonna be one interesting story.
Both of them have their own battles to fight with their pasts, some more obvious than others, but it's great watching them grow and come to terms with things.
Discovering each other as they go is great to. While I don't agree with some of the things in this book, like the situation with Olivia and Connor, I wasn't disgusted reading it, because I understood things from Livies POV.
Reagan, Grant and Ty were gray secondary characters, particularly Reagan, as she's a fiery and wild little thing but a great friend to Livie as well.
It was also great to see Kacey and Trent and Storm, Dave, Mia and of course Dr Stayner back in this book too. Dr Stayner particularly is a great character.
This one didn't have as much angst and heartache for me as some books, but it still left you a bit emotional and feeling everything all the same. It was written brilliantly and I didn't want to put it down.
I definitely recommend this one, it's a fantastic read!
