Another great Katie McGarry book. I really liked both Beth and Ryans characters in this one. I didn't like Beth initially when we met her in the first novel, but in this one you actually see her properly and what she's dealt with growing up.
No-one should have to deal with that, and its makes sense that certain things scared her the way they did. It was great to see her become her true self with the help of the people around her. And start to bring out her full potential.
I really really liked Ryan. I understood his feelings about Mark and the way his parents were, and I liked seeing him learn to stand up to people. He and Beth had me laughing at first with their arrogant games with each other, but once their relationship got started properly, I loved seeing his soft side. Cue the swooning from all the girls, am I right?
A great story about learning to trust and love again, and learning to live to your potential and be yourself. Would definitely recommend.

Holy Shite. From a sad beginning and farewell to a friend - to that ending?!? Whoa.
Starting to see the differences with some things as compared to the TV Show. The confrontation in this Issue was just whoa. Intense and brutal. The B&W colouring definitley suited this one thats for sure.

Hot hot hot!! This book was one hell of a ride. Intense, sexy and just plain hot. I see a theme with some books out on the market these days, being that the main male character has some kind of sex club, but in this books it works really really well. Gabe is a great character and I really loved how he was with Stevie. I also really liked Stevie and how she came out of her shell with him. The sass between the two of them was really great as well.
Now, book two anyone?

This one was a great one! I definitely fell in love with Griff. A sexy, funny, charming, romantic, life-saving Coast Guard Lieutenant with a hero complex? Lordy lordy, he could save me anyday!
Both Griff and Chloe have been through events in their life that would change anyone and shape how the rest of their lives play out. No-one should have the displeasure of dealing with those things. Yet those who do, hopefully come out stronger. It was a great common factor that Griff and Chloe had these massive events in their past, because it helped them understand each other, in turn making them more easily able to assess each others needs or emotions without even having to think about it.
Griff is such a charming and romantic character. I loved how he was with Chloe and I loved the relationship he has with his best mates. Although I hope we actually get to meet Logan in the future books.
I also really liked Chloe's character and even though her hang-ups seemed more obvious than Griff's, she is still such a strong character, and she doesn't take shit from anyone.
They both have things to learn and they start to learn them together, before making a few realisations on their own.
I also really like the concept of Naked Men and how it gives life to topics that people are probably alot of the time too scared to discuss or just wondering if they're the only ones thinking that particular way about a topic. Especially one like Chloe's situation. I'm not going to give anything away, but its a great issue to point out in the book and something that I haven't seen in a lot of other books. At least not books where the characters are in their late 20's.
As for Chloe and her letter writing business? I think its a great way to stay in touch with a more intimate way of communication and words. No-one really gets a real proper letter these days because everything is so reliant on technology and thats the world we live. But remember the excitement of actually writing a letter and receiving one in return? Even though Chloe is writing letters to help customers, we do see the letter writing come out in other parts of the novel, and I love the concept as a whole.
And that ending? My god! Give me book two now please!
Definitely recommend this one and really look forward to reading the next in the series.
