Yet another fantastic Nicholas Sparks novel. I'd highly recommend reading this one. Loved it from start to finish.

Omg this book is fantastic. I cannot wait to start the next one, although I'm wondering it can possibly live up to the standards of Delirium after an ending like that. Imagine a world where love was a disease...

This was really enjoyable, just like all the Maddox books are so far, but I feel like it was a bit of a filler to explain the FBI and Travis involvement better than it did in the previous books that mentioned it. I feel like it didn't have enough of the love story like the others did. It was all about the FBI and people pushing each other way. Even Trav and Pigeon were together more during their on again off again relationship in BD than Thomas and Liis were in this book.

It's like Thomas story kind of took a backseat to tying up the loose ends with Trav and the fire/FBI and also with Trent and Cami. Don't get me wrong, I devoured this book just as quickly as the others, and there were actually heaps of moments where I found myself literally laughing out loud, but I feel it lacked something that Beautiful Disaster and Beautiful Oblivion had.

At first I was like - ugh this girl only cares about being popular - whatevvvveeerrr

But then I was like - wait, maybe she's actually capable of being a normal human being.

This was a great coming of age story highlighting some of the difficulties of finding yourself in high school and learning how to treat people (yourself among them) better than you have been.

A quick and fun read, well done Kasie West.
