I'm not really sure how I feel about this book. It took me a little bit to get into but once I did I was hooked. Although, even then I was desperately trying to work out what the full story would be when I got to the end, and what the chapters from Alice's point of view were trying to tell me.
Let me tell you, the twist at the end, of what the story really had been, left me a little confused and unbelieving. I'm not sure how I feel about the fact that I thought one thing the whole way through the novel and then it was completely ripped out from under me. Of course, this happens in many books, but in this one, it's not the plot twist you're hoping for, or that reads well, it's a plot twist that makes you think everything you just read before hand was a crock of sh*t.
It's a good concept for the storyline, and I was even feeling emotional and a bit teary during parts of this book, I just find it a little unbelievable the way the whole thing played out. I think this ending might be for people a little more open minded than I.
Nonetheless this book wasn't horrible, it was addictive once you got into it. Just make sure you expect the unexpected when you get the end, and the truth of the story.

It was good to finally read a story about Cole and Isabel, and great that this was continuing on after the events of the first three books. Isabel drove me crazy at times and sometimes the book was slowly paced, but at the same time it went fast. It was a quick and easy read, although I kind of wished the ending was a bit more than it was.
At first I thought I wouldn't like this book, because of the way it's written with the out of body experience Mia has. But then, all of a sudden, I was wanting to read more and hear Mias story and rooting for her to stay. I kind of wish it didn't end the way it did, that we for a bit more detail, but hey that's just my opinion. A great quick read.
