So glad I finally got the chance to grab book 2 of this series and continue Asher and Grace's story. I really love the world that Claire Kingsley has built in these books and I was hoping for Asher and Grace to get their HEA. There are some serious issues being dealt with in this book, but I felt it was all handled really well. The characters are wonderful and I love the whole small town community feel and the family feel with the Baileys. Even the Haven feud intrigues me - and I want to know more about Eliza Bailey too. Lots to love in this series so far, and I've already jumped into book 3!

This is a beautiful hardcover edition about Tutankhamun - lots of information and pictures of records and the excavation of his tomb. A great addition for any ancient history or Tutankhamun buff.

I'm not really sure how to review this one. Something about this book kept me hooked even through it was extremely slow plot wise. I'm talking it takes a really really long time before anything happens between the two main characters. But in saying that, the little mysteries to their pasts, and the way they acted with each other kept me going. This one lures you in quietly even whilst wondering what will happen.

I love the hockey world that Helena has created. It's interesting getting to know the kids of the Pucked world, and sometimes I need to remind myself that my favourite characters re now older than I'm picturing them lol.
Maverick and Clover have an interesting relationship, and its definitely on the more serious side topic wise - the whole of the book, and the things they deal with, I mean.
They were likeable characters and I liked how thing played out in the end and certain moves they made for their future - quite fitting given how their story played out.
Would recommend, and look forward to more from this series.

This was a fairly fun read - Lily learns she's got royal heritage in a country she hasn't heard of, and is suddenly thrown into a whole new reality and world with some big decisions to make. She's a spitfire and it was fun watching her rile up Keller. Their dynamic was interesting and it was easy to root for them and their HEA.
There are a bunch of other interesting characters and I wouldn't say no to more about Lara or Runa. A whole new world from Meghan Quinn, but as usual a great book that I would recommend.

I finished this a few weeks ago whilst on holidays, so I'm struggling with remembering alot of this one - bookzhiemers as my friend calls it! I did enjoy this and there were definitely a bunch of laugh out loud moments, which is typical of Meghan Quinn books. The best friends to lovers storylines get me everytime, and this was a fun as it was frustrating. I look forward to continuing this with the next book when I get a chance!

This was an interesting enough read, but it didn't really keep me all that captivated - to be honest I kind of kept reading because I wanted to see what would happen even though I wasn't that invested. In saying that, I liked the characters - I think I just didn't connect with them. There was a lot of sexy time in this book and some of the scenes were damn hot. Some funny moments too which is typical for Emma Hart books. This is me going back to read what I can of her back catalogue as I get time, so I found this very different to her current books. I didn't dislike this one, I just didn't fall in love with it either. I do want to read the next book though!

An interesting read about peoples pasts and how it shapes them. Both our main characters have trauma in their past and deal with it completely differently. The fact that they end up moving forward together and learning about each other was great. A bit of an angsty read in parts and I was keen to see how things would play out between these two. I found that I liked these characters more than some of the others in LJ Shen books I've read, but there was definitely still the whole bully/asshole thing going on during the story. Not really sure what else to say except that I enjoyed this one and will read more from the author.

I smashed through this novella in one day. I had just finished reading Ruckus, after having read both Daria and Vicious some time ago, so I'm definitely out of order, but I wanted to come back and read Jaime and Melody's story.
This was a quick novella that had me captivated and once again thrown in this crazy world of the HotHoles. I was glad to go back and get this first story and fill in some gaps, especially given this is a teacher-student forbidden romance story.

I remember being curious about this book after reading Vicious and now I've finally had the chance to read it. I enjoyed Dean and Rosie's story, even if there were many secrets between them, and lots of bitter moments. I haven't read many LJ Shen books, and I haven't even read them in order, but one thing I've found she is great at, is writing asshole characters. I don't generally find myself wanting to read characters like that, but with her books, I can't seem to stop.
Dean was much nicer than some of the other characters, but he definitely had a bad side. I found him really intriguing, and his secret wasn't what I thought it was. Rosie was awesome, and I really despised her family most of the time because of how they treated her. Which I also understood, but they could have definitely done with some better communication.
Great world building in these books, and I will be reading more in the future.
