DID NOT FINISH: 24%

I’m choosing not to finish this one. I’ve picked it up and put it down a few times. Whilst the story seems interesting enough I just can’t get into it or find myself being drawn to it. I’ll give it a pass.

I really enjoyed this book - the fake marriage that we start with which quickly turns into more. I loved getting to know Eloise and Jasper and understand their vastly different lives. There were plenty of people I didn't like in this one, but there was a lot to love as well.

The end of the book certainly hit with more of a bang than I expected but it all came together nicely. Definitely recommend.

What an end to this series. I wish I could go back and read them for the first time all over again. The games, the secrets, the lies, the betrayals. There's such a whirlwind of events. I love how this all played out, and the ending kind of felt like it left an opening for more, which I would love. Things didn't necessarily all turn out how I thought, but boy what a ride this was. I was so invested reading this series. Absolutely loved it. Highly recommend.

This series has me hooked and I never want to put the books down. Every page unravels a new game or a new mystery and just so much is always happening. I'm enthralled by this world and its secrets, lies and mysteries and just have to know how this will all end.

Well, this book had me hooked from the start. The whole situation that Avery finds herself in with the Hawthornes is such a mystery, and the events that ensue trying to get to the bottom of it are just all over the place and crazy. It's like something from another world - which I guess it is, because they're rich and famous.

Avery's connection with the brothers, particularly Jameson and Grayson is interesting - but I'm batting for Jameson in this one. Great world building in this story, makes you feel right there with these characters. There is still plenty of mystery left to solve at the end of this, and I'm really looking forward to reading the next book!

This would have to be my favourite book in this series. I adored both Lia and Breaker, and their friendship is just wonderful. The bond they have formed is so strong and I just loved everything about it. I loved how they support each other and how they're there for each other.

Whilst I wasn't a fan of how long it took for them to realise their feelings for each other, I do realise that this is how their story was supposed to play out. The bits with Breaker's family involved were awesome too. And holy hotness their sexual chemistry was off the charts once they got together.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and smashed through it in around 24 hours. Highly recommend, and hoping that we get another particular book which was alluded to in this one.

This was an interesting little Christmas catchup with our favourite mafia mobsters. A little further look into Sergio and Val.

I liked this, but also it was just ok. It didn't capture my attention the way I would've hoped. The characters were good but I think it was a bit too insta for me. Overall everything was fine, just not up there with faves for me.

This was a great story. Peyton really steals the show, but I really liked Harley and Gavin too. This kind of story makes you realise the grief that many families face from unexpected tragedies. There were lots of fun and cute moments in this one, and while it was maybe a little bit too long, the story played out well. I enjoyed this and would recommend.

This was a really heavy book. Themes of suicide. The story is based around finding out the truth about what happened to Poppy, our main character Clementine's sister. She's believed to have committed suicide, but there are things that lead Clem to believe thats not at all what happened. What ensues is quite the mystery full of odd turns, plenty of surprises and an ending that I didn't expect.
