Bug is a very interesting but relatable character. Bug is very in touch with the paranormal and understands that the house is haunted. As Bug’s uncle dies, Bug realized there is a new spirit in the house. One that may possibly be trying to send Bug a message… Throughout this book bug is faced with average middleschool girl issues. Bug isnt very into ‘girly’ things, but their companion is. Bug’s friend tries to open them up to their more feminine side, but bug soon realizes what that message the spirit was trying to send them. Definitely a book I plan on rereading.

As i read this book it really helped me appreciate my cats more. What would a life without cats be like? The heartwarming story of a cat named Cabbage and its owner facing death, having to get rid of something from the world each day, to live another day. Will he get rid of cats for his own life?

Wow. I'm not even sure where to start. I think this book is perfect, like every book Kathleen Glasgow writes. The characters are amazing, as well as their development. The end of this book is so inspiring to keep on going. I'm so proud of every character in this book, for what they went through and how they handled everything. Also, I LOVE Emory's relationship at the end (IYKYK). This book shows how you should keep on hoping and never give up. I'll be honest I was losing hope towards the end of the book but I was shocked at the outcome. I will never forget this book.

"Listen, it's going to suck, and then it won't, okay? Then it will just be after, and you can deal with that."

I will be honest, this book was boring. BUT! I loved the world building. Even if it caused me to not finish this book for over a month. I did find a lot of this book to be confusing. I didn't (and still don't) understand the passages after each chapter. I forgot a lot about what happened in this book. I'm having trouble rating it, but I think it deserves a 2 star at the moment.

This book was written so beautifully. I majorly relate with all of the characters. When reading this I felt like I was reading a real person's thoughts, and it was very comforting. The events towards the end are very unfortunate. I wish Riley just thought about what he was doing and the consequences before he did it. I love the format, and the language. I also love the melancholy vibe of this book. Its overall just an amazing book that i will forever hold so close to my heart.

At first I didn’t think I would enjoy this book AT ALL. I didn’t like how the family was handling the situation and it felt very forced, as if they WANTED something to be wrong. I was definitely not as emotional while reading this book compared to A Good Girls Guide to Murder. Nat’s character development is so beautiful. I cant wait to see how she is in As Good As Dead! The trama was captured in such a real way at the end. One of my favorite things about Holly’s writing is how they space the words out when Pip isn’t okay. This was a good story with a very unfortunate ending.

To start if off, I am IN LOVE with the character development. Kya is such a cool character and it was awesome to watch her grow up and mature. I am not at all shocked about the ending and I think I have a pretty good idea of how chase died/was killed. Im super excited to watch the adaptation, but it was overall a good book!

(after finding out about the author it is unsettling and makes me take off a star!!!)

This book got me out of an insane book slump. I was never bored when reading this book. The author us great. So great. She knows exactly how to keep a reader hooked. When I finished the book I THREW it and just sobbed. It was so perfectly done. I will never forget this book, and am looking forward to the sequel!
