Wow. This book was heartbreaking. So many beautifully expressed emotions. Some of the lines ... ooof.
I love how feminist this book is, as well as the themes of grief and betrayal and doing what's best even if that's not what you want to do. Gorgeous world building and writing.

I liked this book actually! This type of literary fiction isn't usually my thing.
It has different, interesting plot lines and characters from all generations. A page-turner for me.
