Please check trigger warnings. It contains R#PE, its not CNC. There's a big difference.

I'm not sure what it was I didn't love, theoretically it has all of my favourite things to read in an erotica but it just didn't land.

Also noting, this isn't a dark romance, maybe erotica.

A quick read, with an amazing FMC. She was so smart and kicking ass in the business world.
Lots of smut, and enough of a plot to keep me going.

I loved the world building, political intrigue and the adorable sweet men. Adelaide was pretty wicked as well.
This book really has a bit of all my favourite things:
Political intrigue
Alternate history
Why choose
Irish and Norse mythology
Angst
A super stabby FMC
Lots of LGBTQA rep
Oh and lets not forget the spice, I do love a spit roast scene in my why choose books. They are my favourite.

This book was so much bloody fun. I absolutely loved Cinnamon. She was so sassy and confident. She knew exactly who she was, she was proud of who she was and the way her family loved each other was just wholesome.
And Fallon, that Demon. Oh my. What a wonderful book boyfriend. I usually love them with a side of toxicity, but he was funny, to the point and the perfect level of obsessed. In fact he us probably the least toxic in my book boyfriend harem.

I loved the writing, the side characters where phenomenal and I loved the story and the idea of the "goddess" not being what she seemed. It was a super cool take on a small town hero trope.
