Fark me. I was scarred after reading Pen pal, it took me so long to pick up another book by them. I didn't think I could deal with being crushed emotionally again. 

But this book was solid, intriguing and featured all of my favourite things. Now that I know I won't necessarily be destroyed by their books I will be reading all of them.

My rating isn't negative, it's just I went in expecting steamy smut and it's not.
It is so sweet, and lovely. I was just really after smut.

I wrote an awesome review going into the themes of the book and the way it reflects what has been happening over the last few years.
And then I accidentally deleted it. 

So pretend I said something insight and go read the book.

The truly horrifying aspect of this book is that it isn't unrealistic. The characters are in a world that we are only a few more bad decisions away from. 

This is a smart, violent, smutty, fuckfest and I loved every second of it. From the perfect dedication, to the very last page. Phenomenal.

This wasn't for me. I love cnc, but this felt like rape. I think it's just a personal preference. The writing was fine, and this will work for a lot of people.

My first dnf for the year. The writing, characters and story were really not my thing. I don't have anything positive to say about it.

This book sheds a light on one of the most frustrating situations that we witnessed in Australian politics in the last few years. 
This has lit a fire inside me and I think I will look back at the time I read it and know it changed me for the better and gave me confidence.

Quick and spicy read. 

These books are like chocolate, I can't stop.

So bloody cute. I had a big grin on my face the entire time.
