Ahhhh wow I’m so happy that this exists!! I was so sad once I finished AGGGTM because it was over and now we get a sequel?! AND a third book!!? Sign this true crime lover up!! I liked this one a lot but it fell a little flat pace wise with me. It was a little slow but not too slow that I was bored. The last 40 pages or so had me like

Hmmmm I will be completely honest when I say I’m a little upset I read that entire book just for that ending!! I know there’s a sequel and I need to read it to find out wtf is going on but this book seemed a little anticlimactic to me. I was expecting some huge climax but it just got to the last 40 pages and nothing really happened! I was very intrigued and wanted to know what was going on throughout the whole book but this just wasn’t my cup of tea. I did love Avery and the brothers, but I feel conflicted whether or not I should actually like them! I feel like nothing was resolved during this and it should’ve tied up some of the ends. Overall, this could really work for someone who loves mysteries and confusion and not knowing what characters to trust, but it wasn’t my cup of tea :(

This book was absolutely adorable!! I loved seeing the friendship between Wes and Liz grow and then the PINING AND ANGST?! So good! I loved all of the romcom references and the serious talks about grief and the loss of a parent. It was beautifully written and made you love the characters even more. Liz reminded my a lot of myself and made me want to wear vintage clothes and watch all the romcoms I can. This was an adorable YA romcom that I think people who are fans of enemies to lovers with a side of fake dating will love!

I am completely speechless. This book may just be my new favorite romance of all time. Friends to not friends to friends to lovers? The best trope and emily Henry did it SO WELL! The emotions she made Alex and poppy feel and the timelines telling the story? I loved it. I went into this thinking wow this will be hard to top beach read but wow this one blew away any expectations that I had!! I can’t even convey my thoughts about how much I loved it. I am a sucker for romances and this checked every single box. I read it in about 6 hours and could not put it down! I can’t wait for everyone to be reading this book and hopefully loving it like I did!

Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review!
